Guide AMO Déchets BTP

Launching and running a construction-waste client-side assistance (AMO) engagement: the 2026 regulatory framework, engagement method, deliverables and pricing.

There is a service many project owners buy without knowing its name: client-side assistance (AMO) for construction and demolition waste. It means taking charge, on behalf of whoever builds, demolishes or renovates, of the waste side of an operation: anticipating waste streams, writing the specifications, checking that the contractor actually sorts, collecting the evidence, and producing a final recovery report that holds up under inspection. The service exists because French regulation has piled up over five years without ever simplifying: an ordinary renovation site is simultaneously subject to the “7-stream” sorting rule from decree no. 2021-950, the mandatory waste statements on quotes from decree no. 2020-1817, the chronological register set by the order of 31 May 2021, the extended producer responsibility scheme for building construction products and materials, and — above certain thresholds — the PEMD diagnosis. From 1 September 2026 it is also subject to Trackdéchets with no tonnage threshold at all for hazardous waste. The e-book covers the regulatory framework applicable in 2026, the engagement method in order, the expected deliverables and pricing. Audience: construction professionals, environmental engineers and consultants who want to specialise in waste AMO. Delivered as PDF, EPUB, Markdown and HTML, updated as of 31/07/2026. The e-book is written in French (it deals with French regulation).

Frequently asked questions

Is this guide personalised legal or regulatory advice?
No. It presents the applicable framework for information only, updated as of 31/07/2026. Waste regulation changes fast: re-check every text and every deadline as of the current date, and have sensitive situations validated by a legal professional or the competent authority.
Who is it for?
Construction professionals, environmental engineers and consultants who want to specialise in client-side assistance for construction waste. It is not a consumer guide.
Does it cover the commercial side of the engagement?
Yes, within the stated scope: the guide covers the deliverables expected from an engagement and how to price them, alongside the regulatory framework and the method. It obviously guarantees no volume of business.
What about the Trackdéchets deadline?
The guide states that from 1 September 2026 a site falls under Trackdéchets with no tonnage threshold at all for hazardous waste. That information is dated 31/07/2026: confirm its application status when you set up your engagement.
Can I withdraw after purchase?
No: digital content delivered immediately after payment. By ticking the consent box before buying, you request immediate performance and expressly waive your right of withdrawal (art. L221-28 of the French Consumer Code). Any issue: contact@chipiestudio.com.
